After an agreement by four guys - only one dropped out - and months of training, Adam, Tan and I participated in our first ever triathalon in Newport beach May 23, 2004. Big thanks to my dad and stepmom, Donn and Elizabeth, for getting up at 5 a.m. with me and providing a lot of support (including use of the bike) AND for taking some excellent photos!
